A little bit more

Listen. There are going to be a lot of photos from the baby's first birthday, so I'm just preparing you for the upcoming picture overload. It's for your own good, really. So here are more Jonas photos...

Babies tasting lemons

I saw this on Twitter and I could watch it a thousand times. Babies suffering (in a minor way of course) is so adorable.

If this sends you to YouTube to watch it, you definitely should. Totally worth it.

He's here!

Introducing (or re-introducing since I posted a photo on Facebook) Jonas Theodore Dick. He's the first baby in our family, so forgive me if I'm a little too excited.

Born May 11, 2011
9 lbs, 1 oz
21 inches
(and really cute!)

Beautiful new baby and mom. I don't even look that good after a shower, so I don't know how Amy looks like this after giving birth.

I'm in love!

Jonas and Opa. I'm still campaigning for "Grumpa," but for some reason, my dad doesn't want to be called that.

My mom's a grandma now. So crazy. More crazy: she told me she's even excited about changing diapers.

Uncle Chris. And no, Jonas' head isn't abnormally small. Chris' is just that big.

Baby feet!

And the new family, Tyler, Amy and Jonas. Congratulations!

Amy's baby shower

My nephew will be coming in less than a month, so on Sunday, we threw my sister, Amy, a baby shower. Well, mostly my mom and Amy's friend, Stephanie, threw the shower. I'm just a great supervisor.

Isn't this cake great? Stephanie made it and all the other desserts.

And my mom made these cute owls to go with the centerpieces. I take credit for the idea, though. I'm the ideas girl.

My sister (and my mom apparently telling a story or scolding someone)

My brother...

Stephanie's husband cutting up the precious cake and Tyler (Amy's husband/baby daddy) getting sick of my paparazzi skills.

Presents!

Overall, I think it went well. Now I'm just ready for the baby to get here! I'm sure Amy is, too.
